The purpose of this group is to learn about wines while training the palate through the direct experience of structured, themed wine tastings. Membership in the Wine Tasting Group is conditional on each member agreeing to take a turn hosting a wine tasting. Members may “buddy-up” to jointly host tastings. Generally speaking, wine tastings will be scheduled on a monthly basis on the fourth Thursday of the month to be held either in the afternoon or evening (host’s choice).

Ordinarily, tastings may be held outdoors (weather permitting) or more often, indoors at members homes or at local venues - restaurants, wineries or other public spaces. Tastings may be held via online ZOOM meetings when either the weather or government health regulations and guidelines make it necessary to do so.
