The past 10 years have seen the development of numerous different investment opportunities that allow investors to align their investment portfolios with their philosophy. This development is a unique opportunity open to all investors. Doug, one of our members, will introduce and review some of the available methods — principally Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investments. ESG investments are now fairly common and available across most asset classes. The presentation will have a specific focus on applying an ESG bias to your equity portfolios reviewing the concept, the costs and benefits plus some of the challenges faced with investing with an ESG bias.
