Book Club One currently has 12 members and is full at this time. While not everyone is able to attend every meeting, we've found this number works well for lively and engaging discussions.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month from September through June at 2:00 pm.  During January, February and March, meetings are held on Zoom.  We rotate the book selections each month and host locations among members' homes when we aren't on Zoom.

At our June meeting, members propose books for the coming season, and ten titles are selected for the year.  Our conversations often explore the author's background, themes, character development, plot, connections to mythology or classic literature, the meaning behind character names, and the book's relevance to past or present society.  Discussions are thoughtful, wide-ranging and often enjoyed with a glass of wine.
